DRX Win Worlds 2022!

The 2022 League of Legends Worlds Championship was one for the record books. Not only was DRX the first 4th seed team to make it to the Finals, but to end up winning against 2nd seed LCK team T1 wraps up their storybook ending.

TI was no pushover of an opponent either. They gritted out close wins and dominated lesser opponents during Worlds through efficient team play and strong players across the roster. This was the 4th Worlds appearance for League of Legends great Faker, and the 1st appearance for the other 4 members of the team.

Throughout Worlds, DRX showcased strong performances at every level of the tournament. The final match against T1 was full of momentum swings and was one of the best matches to watch. From recovering from multiple Barons being stolen to Kingen's MVP performance on Aatrox to the extremely surprising Bard pick by BeryL. DRX grasped at any advantage they could take and pulled through over T1.
