Naruto 20th Anniversary Celebration!
Originally premiering on October 3rd, 2002 in Japan, a demonic yellow-haired boy hogging the only swing in the Leaf Village would go on to capture the hearts of millions worldwide. Our most beloved jinchuriki toad sage ninja made his first appearance during the first episode of the original Naruto anime, aptly titled, 'Enter: Naruto Uzumaki!'. To commemorate such an occasion of the ongoing series, Studio Pierrot decided to rewind the clock and take another stab at the most iconic scenes from the Naruto series.
Just in case you were curious, here are the titles of the theme songs ordered by their chronological appearance in "Road of Naruto":
2nd Opening Theme Song: “Haruka Kanata” (Naruto)
4th Opening Theme Song: “GO!!!” (Naruto)
5th Opening Theme Song: “Seishun Kyosokyoku” (Naruto)
3rd Opening Theme Song: “Blue Bird” (Naruto Shippuden)
6th Opening Theme Song: “Sign” (Naruto Shippuden)
16th Opening Theme Song: “Silhouette” (Naruto Shippuden)
The 10-minute video Studio Pierrot created perfectly encapsulated everything that made Naruto special. From the classic opening themes to the emotional trauma and spectacular fights. It was an emotional rollercoaster from start to finish. A true love letter for the Naruto series. And if that wasn't enough Ninja love for you, Crunchyroll also created a video grabbing a 1-second clip from every episode of Naruto and Naruto: Shippuden.
Naruto's ninja way is still going strong even after 20 years. With the continued popularity of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, it doesn't seem like the series will be slowing down anytime soon. The new Offical Naruto website was also launched a few days ago with original art depicting key story moments during the anime. Series creator Masashi Kishimoto joined in on the action and shared an exciting message with fans.
